Tate FX were formed in January 2017 and are an independent company making high quality effects pedals, using only the best parts from 1% metal film resistors to German & Japanese capacitors. Offering quality way above their price point.

ANTARES OVERDRIVE

The Antares Overdrive is Tate FX’s attempt to create the perfect mid pushed overdrive.

Taking influence from a couple of Stuart Tate’s favourite Japanese overdrives and tweaking until he was happy, the result is the Antares.

Featuring a Hi-Fi grade Burr Brown opamp this overdrive really hits home with warm gain tones through to pushed mid tones.

The ‘Clean’ control lets you blend your clean signal into your drive tone. This is great to retain clarity or certain bass frequencies that a mid-pushed drive can tend to remove.

As with all TateFX pedals the Antares features hi-grade, Panasonic and Wima capacitors, 1% metal film resistors, heavy duty Alpha footswitches and premium Lumberg jacks.
