REVV G2 V2 Overdrive Pedal
The Revv G2 was developed alongside Nashville’s premier session guitarists to achieve a wide variety of touch-sensitive edge-of-breakup & transparent crunch tones that satisfy the needs of the most demanding players. It’s great as the “do-it-all” distortion of your pedalboard, a colorful boost to pair with your amp, or a cleanish tone-shaper to add a little flavor to the tones you already love. This brand-new V2 circuit revision carefully tweaked the bloom, sustain, & sag of notes for a true classic character across all gain ranges.

The Green Channel
Revv’s G-Series pedals are all-analog ‘amps-in-a-box’ based on the channels of our flagship Generator 120 MK3 amplifier. The G2 is the Green crunch channel. It’s also our only pedal that influenced an amp! The G2 expanded on the Generator 120 MK2’s Green channel with so much versatility & character that we used it & its drive voices as a building block for the Generator 120 MK3’s Green channel.
Three Voices
The G2 is our most versatile G-Series pedal, in part due to its 3 Drive voices. Off provides a very open sound with less coloring, which can function as an excellent boost or EQ. Blue adds a musical breakup & compression that will sweeten your edge of breakup tones or provide a core overdrive tone. Red goes all the way to ‘hot rodded classic stack’ territory.
The Technical Details
The G2 will have a relatively neutral character with all controls at noon. You can use this to explore the sweep of the 3-band EQ which is incredibly powerful. As you engage the drive modes, you will get a squishier feel & more distortion. It’s a simple & toneful all-analog pedal that runs on traditional isolated 9 volt center negative power supplies.
