HA-2 HEADPHONE AMP

Ever wanted to practice guitar or bass along with a backing track but didn’t want to set up bucket loads of gear, and do it silently, or at real bedroom sound levels?

The Mozztronics HA-2 Headphone Amplifier is the all in one solution.

We included our MS-1 Mehrschall circuitry on the instrument input to get a great guitar or bass sound without having to use any external effects boxes.

There is a 1/4″ instrument input, a 3.5mm stereo auxiliary input you can plug into your phone, tablet, mp3 player (etc). There is a mono speaker output (8 ohm or higher speaker) from the internal 1W amplifier, and a 1/4″ stereo headphone socket as well as a 3.5mm stereo headphone socket (both headphone outputs are 32 ohm minimum). The speaker output and the headphone sockets can all be used at the same time. There are no crappy little chip amps inside this unit, we built a proper 1W discrete power amp into this baby !

This unit is mono, we mix the stereo auxiliary input to mono & send it to both sides of your headphones, we just couldn’t fit a stereo power amp into this little pedal sized unit.

We included a 3 band eq with switchable filters for BRIGHT and ULTRA LOW (we all know where this “classic” filter comes from). We have a GAIN control for the instrument input, so you can run this clean , or you can turn the gain up to get some realistic drive and dirt to get a nice cranked amp sound for both guitar and bass without having to use any external stompboxes. You can of course plug your pedal board output into this unit if you want delay, reverb etc on your instrument sound. We have an overall output volume control for the instrument and a separate volume control for the auxiliary input.

Mozztronics uses the industry standard 2.1mm socket for the power supply connection. Power is from an external 9VDC 0.5A plugpack.

Mozztronics want to make their contribution to a greener world by keeping 9V batteries out of landfill. For this reason Mozztronics pedals do NOT have space inside for a 9V battery. If you do not already have a suitable power supply such as a Boss wall-wart, One Spot, PP2 etc we can supply a Mozztronics PS-2 power supply with your order for an additional $26. Please include a note with your order if you wish to add a power supply.
