BAD TRIP

This design started as a Rat style distortion but with the goal of more gain, loads more output, thick to tight low end, and of course it needed a clean blend for those of us who prefer that for gain stacking and the bassist out there. Drop the gain to zero, turn up the tight control, and use it as a boost or do just the opposite for massive doom.

CONTROLS

• Gain – Controls the amount of distortion
• Level – Controls the output volume.
• Blend – Adjust the mix between your buffered clean signal and the distortion.
• Cut – Roll off some high end to smooth things out to taste.
• Tight – Pregain high pass filter to low shelf the amount of bottom end.
• Bypass LED Brightness (Internal) – Adjust overall brightness of front LED. Default setting at minimum (full CCW).

POWER

9-18VDC – CENTER NEGATIVE. While 9V is perfectly adequate for gnarly grind, feel free to use 18V for additional headroom.
